What if the memories that shaped your life concealed a far greater truth?

The Shock Reality of Time is a remarkable memoir that blends personal history, family secrets, and the enduring mystery of time itself.

Michael J. S. Templeman takes readers on an extraordinary journey through a childhood unlike any other. From post-war Britain to Peru, America, Canada, and Germany, his early years were marked by constant travel, unanswered questions, and a father whose life was shrouded in secrecy. Only decades later did the pieces begin to fall into place, revealing connections to wartime intelligence, hidden missions, and a past that had remained buried for generations.

Written with honesty and vivid recollection, this compelling memoir explores memory, identity, family, and the invisible threads that connect our past with our present. Through moments of adventure, humour, heartbreak, and discovery, Templeman invites readers to reflect on their own lives and the stories that shape who they become.

More than a memoir, The Shock Reality of Time is a fascinating exploration of resilience, curiosity, and the extraordinary truths that time can reveal.
